Jerry "Bear" Cutchineal

January 16, 1943 — March 12, 2024

Morrisville

Gerald, “Jerry”, “Bear”, “Mr. C”, Cutchineal passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. He was surrounded by his family after fighting a short, but fierce battle with metastatic pancreatic cancer.

Jerry was born in Bristol. His family moved from Tullytown to Morrisville when he was a child and he graduated from Morrisville High School in 1962. Jerry met the love of his life, Pam, in 1966. They married in 1971 and have been lifelong residents of Morrisville. Bear was a dedicated mechanic that worked at Harbison Ford and out of his parents' garage before starting his own business in 1981. Bear's Auto Service was his pride and joy and continues to serve the community he loved. Jerry was an active parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Whether it was helping out with P.R.E.P. classes, being a member of the finance committee, or his weekly chats with Monsignor, he loved being part of his church community.

In his younger years Bear enjoyed drag racing and working on various types of race cars. He was a regular at Langhorne and Flemington Speedways. When he wasn’t tinkering with cars or something in his sheds, Bear enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, museums (reading every plaque), and anything racing related. He loved cheering for Tony Stewart, watching NASCAR, NHRA, sprint cars, and his beloved Eagles.

Son of the late Minerva and John Cutchineal, Jerry was also predeceased by his best "furry" friend Sasha, and multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Pamela Cutchineal; his loving children, Amy Cutchineal and Cara Cutchineal; his granddog Teddy; his sister Lorraine Titus and nephew Justin, along with many extended relatives and close friends.
