Gertrude Clara (Termyna) Argenti

Gertrude Clara Argenti, age 98 of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA. Born in Passaic, NJ, Mrs. Argenti was a lifelong Morrisville resident.

Prior to her retirement, Gertrude was employed as a pottery worker with Circle F. Pottery in Trenton for 18 years.  A devoted Catholic, she was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Morrisville.  Mrs. Argenti was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother who relished being a homemaker.  She took pride in cooking and entertaining family and friends, especially during the holidays or other family celebrations.  An animal lover, she enjoyed her dogs and cats, as well as raising chickens.  Gertrude was fond of working in her garden, taking trips to New York and Atlantic City with her friends, and playing the daily number. With each new generation she took time to explain her family history.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Marya (Cziepielowska) Termyna, wife of the late Anthony Argenti and sister of the late Emil, Edward, Edwin, Lottie, Eugene and daughter-in-law Beverly, she is survived by her son Louis J. Argenti,  a brother Joseph (Angie) Termyna, sister-in-law Louise Vechy, four grandchildren Nick (Kerri) Argenti, Denise (Neil) Harkins, Tony (Michelle) Argenti, Renee (William) Sims, nine great grandchildren Anthony (Amy), Marc (Holly), Brooke, Jake, Nicholas, Ryan, Allie, Emily and Chase, a great great grandchild Skylar, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her Funeral Mass at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA  19067.  Her interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.

Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA  19067.
