Giuseppe Chianese

Giuseppe "Joe" Chianese, age 82, of Levittown, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, Oct. 17, 2016 at his home. Born in Trenton, NJ, Joe lived in Levittown for the past 57 years.Prior to his retirement, he was employed by General Motors in Ewing Township for 30 years. Mr. Chianese was a parishioner at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Levittown. He was an avid bowler, competing in many area leagues. Joe was the kind of guy who was most happy helping his friends and family with any of their projects. He was known for his laughter while working.Son of the late Joseph and Concetta (Damiana) Chianese, he is survived by his loving wife Shirley (Woodward) Chianese, his daughter and son-in-law Linda and Howard McBane of Morrisville, two sisters, his twin sister Annie Romano of Levittown and Mary Anastatia of Lambertville, NJ, and a brother, James Chianese. He is also survived by his grandson Eric McBane of Providence, RI.Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 10 AM on Friday, Oct. 21, 2016 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA. The Rev. John C. Eckert, Pastor of Holy Trinity Church, will officiate.
