Grace Marie (Fiorello) Venanzi

Grace Marie Venanzi, age 90 of East Windsor, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Meadow Lakes Retirement Community, East Windsor, NJ.  Grace was born in Trenton, NJ on August 3, 1930, the daughter of Mary (Favata) and Samuel Fiorello.  She was a graduate of Trenton High School, Class of 1948, and worked for the NJ Division of the State Police, retiring in 1991 after 25 years of service.

Grace was married to Alfred W. Venanzi for 60 years, at the time of his death in 2011.  They raised their three children in Ewing Township.

Grace is survived by their children, Richard and his wife Susan, Paul and his wife Kirstie and Carol and her husband Andrew Burke, as well as grandchildren Laura, Jane, Robert, Samuel (Amanda) and Michael Venanzi.  Also surviving is her only sibling Marlene Waldron of Gaithersburg, MD and her family who were all so dear to “Aunt Grace”.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her Memorial Mass at 11 AM on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church, 137 Upper Ferry Rd., Ewing, NJ  08628.  Monsignor Ralph Stansley will officiate.  Her interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.

Friends may call Tuesday morning from 10:30 – 11 AM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Grace’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.org, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
