Harold J. Isenberg, age 95, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA.Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Isenberg resided in Fairless Hills for two years and Whiting, NJ for 7 years before moving to Philadelphia in 2004.He was a parishioner of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Barnegat, NJ.Son of the late William and Helen (Plunkett) Isenberg, father of the late Harold, Richard, Gerard, and Maryann Isenberg, and husband of the late Anne F. (Smith) Isenberg, he is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Theresa M. and Thomas A. Harwood of Yardley, PA and Alicia M. Isenberg of Staten Island, NY, a sister Margaret Mary Chapman of Florida, a daughter-in-law Eileen (Walsh) Isenberg of Bellerose, NY, grandchildren Jessica and Thomas Volpe, Matthew and Amanda Harwood, Alicia Festa, Christian Grant, Alicia Isenberg, Theresa and Aaron Josa, and Thomas and Megan Isenberg, and 15 great grandchildren.His funeral mass and interment in St. Mary Cemetery (Barnegat) will be held privately at the convenience of the family, entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com). In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Mr. Isenberg's name be sent to the Delaware Valley Veteran's Home, 2701 Southampton Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19154.
