Harry G. Dent, 78, formerly of Morrisville, died early on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Yardley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Lower Makefield Township, Pennsylvania.
Harry was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Ruth and Frank Dent. Harry attended Radnor High School and received his diploma in 1965. Harry was extremely outgoing and always saw the positive side to any situation, he was one of God’s special people.
Harry loved traveling, he and his late mother, Ruth, would go on trips to exotic places all around the world. He was an active member of Morrisville Presbyterian Church and joined the Chancel Choir. He also attended Bible Study Classes, Men’s Luncheon and became a Deacon. You could always find Harry volunteering at the Food Center. When he was not at the church, Harry liked to take long walks in and around Morrisville. He was an avid stamp collector and enjoyed his parakeets.
Harry is survived by his cousins, Dennis Loper, Donald Loper, and Michael Loper; along with his dear friends he has made over the years at Morrisville Presbyterian Church and the Senior Citizen Center in Morrisville. He will be deeply missed.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, beginning at 11 a.m. at Morrisville Presbyterian Church, 771 N Pennsylvania Ave, Morrisville, PA 19067. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Harry’s memory to the Morrisville Presbyterian Church, earmarked for the Deacons Food Holiday Basket Program.
Arrangements are under the direction of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Avenue Morrisville, PA 19067.
