Henry John Doell

Henry John Doell, age 63 of Langhorne, PA, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Sunday, April 5, 2020, at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born in New York City and lived in Rockaway Beach, NY, for many years. He most recently resided in Langhorne, PA, for the past 26 years.

Henry worked primarily at Banker's Trust in New York, NY, and Broadview Networks in King of Prussia, PA, as a telecom engineer. Upon first moving to Langhorne, Henry was a parishioner at St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church. More recently, Henry attended services at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Henry was, without a doubt, a "people" person! As an active member of the AA community, he was known for making the best morning coffee for his fellow members. Henry loved to travel with his family, especially to visit his daughters in Providence, RI, and Huntingdon, PA. At home, he enjoyed spending time watching television with his family, especially following the exploits of his beloved NY Mets! He, most definitely, appreciated the title his family lovingly assigned to him of "Mr. Fix It!"

Son of the late Preston and Margaret (Magee) Doell, and brother of the late Dr. Margaret Budnik, he is survived by his loving wife, Loretta (Lapine) Doell, two daughters, Kimberly and Kelsey, and his sister, Patricia Ingram. Henry cherished the love of his many nieces, nephews and cousins on both the Doell and Kennedy sides of his family, as well as that of his many wonderful friends.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Morrisville, PA, followed by a Celebration of Life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Henry's name may be made to the Breathing Room Foundation or Alcoholics Anonymous, two organizations that mean a great deal to our family.
