Ida (Minelli) Argenti

Ida Argenti, age 94 of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 23. 2022 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA.

Born in Trenton, NJ, Ida lived in Morrisville for the past 65 years.

Ida enjoyed many years of treating her family and friends to delicious Italian dishes and traditional Italian customs at the holidays.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family,  grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ida enjoyed Bingo at the Italian American Club where her husband Claude was a member for many years.  Other fun outings included Atlantic City and going shopping for her delicious ingredients for specialties such as cheese bread, sup in glaze, and home made Italian bread.

Prior to her retirement, Ida worked for the Pennsbury School District for many years.

Before working for Pennsbury, Ida was a self employed hairstylist.

Mrs. Argenti was a parishioner at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Morrisville, PA.

Ida was the daughter of the late Frank and Virginia (Ruggeri) Minelli, wife of the late Claude Argenti, mother of the late Joseph L. Argenti and sister of the late Primo, Paul, Alba, Harry, Eward, Ugo and Anthony “Tinky”. Ida is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Anthony J. and Patricia Argenti of Langhorne, PA and Michael A. Argenti of Morrisville, PA.  Her three grandchildren are Annette, Angela and Rhiannon as well as three great grandchildren, Juliana, Leo and Ellena and several nieces and nephews, including Louis “Jake” Argenti, John “Jack” Argenti, Stephen Vechy and Joanne Polizzi.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her Funeral Mass on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA  19067.  Her interment will follow at Morrisville Cemetery.
