Irene E. Kohnow (keulon)

Irene E. Kohnow, age 74, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA. Born in Danzig, Germany, she lived in Philadelphia before moving to Morrisville in 1963. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Kohnow was employed with Clover Department Store in Morrisville for 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.Daughter of the late Erich and Marthr (Lewerenc) Keulon, and wife of the late August J. Kohnow, Sr, she is survived by 3 sons and 2 daughters-in-law, August J. Jr. and Vicki Kohnow of Yardley, David S. and Lee Anne Kohnow of Falls Township, and Joseph B. Kohnow of Morrisville, a daughter and son-in-law Deborah J. and Edward Okurowski of Yardley, a sister and brother-in-law Dora and Erwin Hoehl of Bellheim, Germany, 7 grandchildren Trisha and Daniel Kohnow, Erich Okurowski, Kalli and Justin Kohnow, Evan Okurowski and Isabella Kohnow, and several nieces and nephews.Private services have been entrusted to the care of the J.
