Irene S. Riffert

Irene (Sakaly) Riffert, age 100, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014 at Ann's Choice, Warminster, PA. Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong Morrisville resident before moving to Ann's Choice in 2005.She graduated from Morrisville High School in 1932, and participated in varsity basketball, field hockey, and track and field. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a clerk with New Jersey Manufacturer's Insurance Company in Trenton. An avid bowler, Mrs. Riffert was a member of the Morrisville Senior Service Center and the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation.Daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Megules) Sakaly, wife of the late J. Herbert Riffert, and sister of the late Madeline (Sakaly) Ryan, she is survived by nieces Mary Buckner, Joan Gorski, and Eva Vizsolyi and several grandnieces and grandnephews.Services are entrusted to the care of the J.
