James P. Allison

James P. Allison, age 82 of Morrisville, Falls Township, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Jefferson Bucks Hospital in Langhorne.  Born in Trenton, Mr. Allison had been a lifelong resident of Morrisville.

James was a graduate of Morrisville High School, where he was a star athlete, earning varsity letters in three sports.  He then attended Westchester University where he was a member of the diving team.  He graduated Westchester and and earned his Ph.D. in education.  James went on to be a longtime and respected teacher at Klinger Middle School in the Centennial School District for 35 years. A sports fan, his favorite team to root for was the Phillies.  Mr. Allison also enjoyed campong and was a dog lover.

Son of the late Marivin and Marie (Hoffman) Allison, he is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Emily Mary (Ralph) Allison, four brothers Edward (Betty) Allison of Gansevoort, NY, Thomas (Judy) Allison of Valparaiso, IN, Marvin (Phyllis) Allison of Valparaiso, IN, and Robert (Cathy) Allison of Chesterton, IN, three sisters Ann (John) Van Wagner of Morgantown, IN, Carol (Fred) Trachen of Land O Lakes, FL, and Cynthia Bland of New Albany, IN, and many nieces and nephews.

His graveside services in Ewing Cemetery on June 5, 2023 at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution is Mr. Allison's name may be made to the charity of the donor's choice..
