James J. Kronnagel, age 78 of Atlantic City, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Jefferson Bucks Hospital in Langhorne. Born in Newport News, VA, James was raised in Morrisville and attended Morrisville High School prior to moving to Atlantic City.
He was a proud Army Veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for over 30 years. Mr. Kronnagel was a member of the V.F.W., enjoyed playing the Bass, and also wrote a book entitled "Ghosts of Pop Lloyd Field".
Son of the late Frederick and Helen (Petersen) Kronnagel, he is survived by two brothers and a sister-in-,law, Robert Kronnagel of Austin, TX and Donald and Robyn Kronnagel of Morrisville, a niece Corryn Kronnagel and a nephew Donald Kronnagel.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his committal service with Military Honors at 10 AM on February 8, 2024 at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
