Janet Ellen (Nosuchinsky) Samsel

Janet Ellen Samsel, age 78 of Morrisville, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Capital Health/Hopewell.  Born in Trenton, she resided in Trenton before moving to Morrisville in 1968.

Mrs. Samsel was a graduate of Hamilton West High School.  She worked at Morrisville High School as an aide for 25 years, and then as a child care worker at the Morrisville YMCA for 30 years.  Among her varied interests, Janet enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and reading.  She was extremely creative, and was fond of crafting and making beautiful things.  Mrs. Samsel loved animals, especially dogs.  Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Michael Nosuchinsky and Lida (McDonough) Long, she is survived by her loving husband Linford E. “Butch” Samsel, her three children Terrie E. Goldberg of Morrisville, Christopher M. Samsel of Morrisville and Cynthia A. (and husband Francis) Lippincott of Hamilton, NJ, six grandchildren Chloe and Skylar Samsel, Jessica Goldberg and Brant, Hailey and Madelyn Lippincott, and her loving dog Inky.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA  19067.  Her interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-7:30 PM at the funeral chapel.
