Joan E. Johnson (paterson)

Joan E. (Patterson) Johnson, age 84, of Levittown, PA, went home to be with her Savior Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Pickering Manor in Newtown, PA. Born in Morrisville, Joan was a lifelong area resident.Mrs. Johnson, along with her late husband, Donald F. Johnson, Sr., owned and operated Eastern Appliance in Morrisville PA, which they founded in 1954 and continues to operate successfully today under the leadership of Donald Johnson Jr. Joan was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, in Bristol, PA and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Daughter of the late George and Marie (McNally) Patterson, and wife of the late Donald F. Johnson, Sr., she is survived by 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Donald F. Johnson, Jr. of Bensalem, PA, Keith and Patti Johnson of Lady Lake, FL, a sister Margaret "Peg" Monti of Newtown, PA, a brother Jack Patterson of Chipley, Florida, three grandchildren Sean, Jacqueline, and Megan Johnson, and several nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 7 PM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA. The Rev. Keith Johnson (her son) will officiate.Friends may call from 6-7 PM at the funeral chapel.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make a memorial contribution, in her name, to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J.
