Joan Adele Lambert, age 87, of Morrisville, Pennsylvania, passed peacefully at home on Friday, January 7, 2022.
Born in Jersey City, Joan Lambert resided in Trenton and Yardley for many years, and has spent the last 40 years of her life in Morrisville, Pennsylvania. Joan attended Saint Dominic Academy before earning an Associate Degree from Rider University. For 25 years Joan served the Appellate Court for the State of New Jersey as a judicial assistant before retiring.
An active senior, Joan, enjoyed taking care of her furry partner Molly, participating in water aerobics, and having lunch and cocktails with her friends. Her favorite times were times shared with her friends and family. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, gardening, reading and volunteering at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in the rectory and also, as a Eucharistic Minister.
Joan was one of six children of the late Adele B. Burke and Richard I. Nevin. She is survived by her 5 children, Robert H. Jr., Richard N. (Sandra), Paul M. (Kerrie), Peter F (Amy) and Anne DeLeo as well as 10 grandchildren; Robert, Evan, Shaylyn, Jessica, Allison, Marta, Megan, James, Lily and Gwenaelle and 3 Great Grandchildren. Joan was the loving sister to Anne Thoma (Robert G.), John (Jane) and Katharine (Biagio). She was predeceased by her siblings, Mary Alice and Richard and grandchild Katie.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Joan’s Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, Morrisville, PA 19067.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m, at the church.
For the safety of the family and our community, facemasks are required.
Joan’s interment will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Trenton, New Jersey
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA
