John Leo Callahan

John Leo Callahan, age 54, of Morrisville, PA died Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, with his family by his side. Born in Syracuse, NY, John lived in Chesapeake, VA and Yardley before moving to Morrisville 21 years ago.John was a self-employed handyman, owning his own home improvement company. He also enjoyed working as an associate at Home Depot. He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, where he was a member of the church choir for 15 years. He loved woodworking, home projects, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.John is survived by his loving wife Beverly (Kuhn) Callahan, his parents Michael and Mary Fran (Leach) Callahan of Chesapeake, VA, four sisters, Mary Anne Callahan of Greensboro, NC, Therese Cogeos of Denver, CO, Patricia Callahan and husband Bob Wislinski of Columbia, SC, Kate Callahan and her husband John Moore of Suffolk, VA, a brother Dan and his wife Lora Callahan of Chesapeake, VA, his mother and father-in-law, Robert and Beverly Kuhn of McMurray, PA, two sisters-in-law Lisa and husband Geary Baroni of Coropolis, PA and Lori Kuhn of Morrisville, PA, a brother-in-law Skip Kuhn of Ida MI, and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephew.Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11 AM on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Big Oak and Pinegrove Rds., Morrisville, PA 19067. The Rev. Michael McKillip, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 PM and on Saturday morning from 10-11 AM at the church.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church at the above address.Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J.
