John E. Foster, Jr.

John E. “Humpy” Foster, age 90 of Morrisville, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Vitas Hospice in Philadelphia.  Born in Trenton, Humpy was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Foster was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy.  Humpy Worked at U.S. Steel for over 50 years. He was a member of VFW Post # 4046 in Yardley, enjoyed going to the casinos to play Blackjack, and spending time with the love of his life Ruth Marcello.
Son of the late John E. Sr. and Carolyn (Wright) Foster and brother of the late Carolyn Weaver, he is survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law Nancy Daugherty of Morrisville, PA and Joan and Clayton Holley of Rushland, PA, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service at 11 AM on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Morrisville Cemetery, Anderson and S. Pennsylvania Aves., Morrisville, PA  19067
