John W. Hillman, Jr., (known to his family and friends as Jack) age 73 of Levittown, PA passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 6, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, John was raised and lived in Morrisville before moving to Levittown 18 years ago.
Prior to his retirement, he was a self-employed truck driver at the family company, Hillman Trucking Company, for over 20 years. A proud Navy Veteran, he was a fan of classic hotrods and cars, and enjoyed attending car shows. Mr. Hillman was a dog lover as well as an avid sports fan, being a "four for four" Philly fan, always rooting for the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers & 76'ers.
Son of the late John W. Sr. and Willa (Ashton) Hillman and husband of the late Mary (Weight) Hillman, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Jay and Janean Hillman of Levittown, three grandchildren Zack and Natalie Hillman and Hailey McClelland, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 12 Noon on Monday, Dec. 20, 2021 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA. His interment with military honors will follow at 1:30 PM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA 18940.
Friends may call on Dec. 20th from 11 AM – 12 Noon at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in John’s name, may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, (www.act.alz.org/donate).
