John Marcucci

John Marcucci, age 83, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Manor Care of Yardley. Born in Trenton, NJ, Mr. Marcucci was a lifelong Morrisville resident.John was a graduate of Morrisville High School class of 1950, where he was an outstanding football player. Prior to his retirement in 1997, he was employed as a train conductor for NJ Transit for 40 years. He enjoyed meeting his friends for breakfast every morning at Ben's Deli, and then heading off to the Fairless Hills YMCA for a workout. John was an avid sports fan, especially rooting for the Philly teams. He also enjoyed going to the casinos several times a week.Son of the late Nicholas and Cecelia Marcucci, and husband of the late Joan A. (Episcopo) Marcucci, he was also predeceased by 6 sisters and 3 brothers. John is survived by his son Chester and wife, Lillian (Bruno) Marcucci of Morrisville, a daughter Katherine C. and husband, Robert Mount of Morrisville, a granddaughter Christine Marcucci, 3 great grandchildren Nicholas, Devon, and Sophia, and many nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his funeral mass at 11 AM on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.Friends may call Tuesday evening from 7-9 PM, and on Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30 AM at the J.
