John L. Pasteur Sr.

John L. Pasteur, Sr., age 68, of Morrisville, PA, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 at his home. Born in Callander, Ontario, Canada, he was a lifelong Morrisville resident.Prior to his retirement, John worked with his son at John Pasteur, Inc. for 15 years. He was a proud Army veteran of the Vietnam War. John was a member and Past Master at Masonic Lodge Mercer # 139 F. & A.M. He loved motorcycle riding, and enjoyed his grandchildren and his dogs.Son of the late Louis and Marie Lauretta (St. Ives) Pasteur, and brother of the late Nancy Marquez, John is survived by his wife of 45 years, Susan (Cavanaugh) Pasteur, two sons and daughters-in-law, John L. Jr. and Danielle Pasteur of Morrisville and Randy J. and Dot Pasteur of Liberty, PA, "Grandmom" Nora Bloom who raised John, five grandchildren Olivia, Katelyn, Juli, Jessica and Ricky, two great grandsons Mason and Liam, his dog Ivy, and many nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Friday evening, Oct. 30, 2015 at 8:30 PM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com). The Rev. John Eckert, Pastor of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, will officiate. Interment in Washington Crossing National Cemetery will be held privately at the convenience of the family.Friends may call Friday evening from 7 PM until time of services at the funeral chapel.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in John's memory, may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
