John B. Pietrocarlo

John B. Pietrocarlo, age 76, of Yardley, PA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at St. Mary Medical Center on January 26, 2015.John was born in Morrisville, and was a lifelong resident of the Morrisville/Yardley area. He graduated from Morrisville High School in 1957, where he played football. He was later inducted into the Morrisville High School Football Hall of Fame. John was a retired foreman at US Steel. John was also a member of the Morrisville United Methodist Church, where he served as a Trustee. In addition to enjoying the Phillies and the Eagles, John was a huge NASCAR fan, and loved to root for his two favorites, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Sr. Above all, John was a loving husband, a devoted father and grandfather, was kind to everyone he met, and was a true friend.Son of the late Joseph and Anna (Piscopo) Pietrocarlo, and husband of the late Judith E. (Preston) Pietrocarlo, he is survived by his loving wife Nancy L. (Lee) Pietrocarlo, two sons and a daughter-in-law James D. and Julie Pietrocarlo of Hampstead, NH and John L. Pietrocarlo of Newport News, VA, a daughter and son-in-law Laurie J. and David Claeys of Parsippany, NJ, three grandchildren Christopher, Justin and Nicholas, four step-children, six step-grandchildren and five step-greatgrandchildren.Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11 AM on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Morrisville United Methodist Church, 501 W. Maple Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. The Rev. Wendy Bellis, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Morrisville Cemetery.Friends may call Friday evening from 6-9 PM, and on Saturday morning from 10-11 AM at the church.In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions, in John's name, to the Morrisville United Methodist Church at the above address.Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J.
