John W. Steffler Sr.

John William Steffler, Sr., age 83 of Morrisville, PA, died Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA. Born in Ellwood City, PA, Mr. Steffler lived in Levittown before moving to Morrisville 46 years ago.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a millwright in the Tubular Division of U.S. Steel for 40 years. John was a proud Army Veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a hardworking, Christian man, and member of the Oxford Valley Chapel in Levittown. His passion was square dancing with his wife for 25 years.

Son of the late Wilbur and Edna (Cooper) Steffler, father of the late Katherine Hinkley, and father-in-law of the late April Steffler, he is survived by his wife of almost 61 years Norma K. (Cloud) Steffler, two sons and a daughter-in-law John W. and Barbara Steffler of Hornell, NY and Clair Steffler of Morrisville, a daughter and son-in-law Pauline and Stephen Reppert of Yardley, a sister and brother-in-law Margie and Wayne King of Danville, TN, four grandchildren Randi and Jessica Steffler and Corinne Kyle and Daniel Reppert, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 2 PM at the Oxford Valley Chapel, 198 Oxford Valley Rd., Levittown, PA 19056. His interment in Rosedale Memorial Park will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions, In John's name, be sent to the Oxford Valley Chapel at the above address.
