Jorge "Cury" Alberto Perez

Jorge “Cury” Alberto Perez, age 48 of Yardley, PA, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at his home.  Born in Brooklyn, NY, Cury was raised in Brooklyn and lived in Yardley for the past 28 years.

Cury was extremely devoted, and loved playing with, his children.  He enjoyed gardening and loved to joke around and make people laugh.  Cury was an avid video game player as well as a Star Wars enthusiast.

He is survived by his mother Genoveva Montijo of Brooklyn, NY, his father Jorge Alberto Perez, Sr., his wife Effie Lambetsos of Yardley, six children Joshlynn Perez (Leo Aponte) of Brooklyn, Jacklyn and Jasmine Coughlin of Bensalem, Jorge Perez of Yardley, Anastasia and David Wilkinson of Ft. Drum, NY, Demetrios Perez of Yardley and Londyn “Princes Leia” of Yardley, two sisters and brothers-in-law Maribel Montijo and Glenn Cover of Wingdale, NY,  Jeannette and Ruben Figeroa of Manhattan, NY, also his in-laws , mother in-law Fotini Lambetsos of queens, NY, sister in law Mary and Sharleen Lambetsos of Queens, NY , Cathy and Adrian Moss of Queens, NY and many many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021 at 10:30 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA  19067.  The Rev. David Farina, Pastor of Calvary Full Gospel Church, will officiate.  His interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery.

Friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday evening from 7-9 PM and on Saturday morning from 9 AM – 10:30 AM.
