Joseph J. Wieger, age 84, of Yardley, PA, passed away January 18, 2014, peacefully at his home with his family by his side. Born in Trenton, NJ, Mr. Wieger was a lifelong area resident. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a field engineer with I.B.M. in Trenton and Princeton for 35 years. Mr. Wieger was a proud Navy Veteran of the Korean War. A parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Morrisville, he was a Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association (E.A.A.) Trenton # 176. He enjoyed flying airplanes and was an avid gardner. Son of the late George C. and Catherine (Cuskley) Wieger, he is survived by his beloved wife Mary Danko Wieger, a son, Gregory Joseph Wieger of Levittown, PA, a daughter and son-in-law Susanne and Michael Tryba of Jamison, PA, 2 grandchildren Ashley and Michael Tryba, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his funeral mass on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 at 11 AM at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067.
