Josephine "JoAnn" A. (Burkhard) Silvestri - Yurcho

Josephine "JoAnn" (Burkhard) Yurcho, age 90 of Hamilton Square, NJ, entered peacefully into the arms of the Lord surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Robert Wood Johnson, Hamilton, NJ.  Born in Indianapolis, IN, JoAnn was a longtime Hamilton resident.  She also resided in Bradenton, FL for 10 years.

Prior to her retirment, she was employed with the State of New Jersey.  She enjoyed reading the Bible, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Daughter of the late John and Clara (Hansmann) Burkhard, wife of the late Frank Silvestri and Edward Yurcho, and mother of the late Ciro Silvestri, she is survived by six daughters and three sons-in-law, Clara and Sam Lecato, with whom she resided in Hamilton, NJ, Beata Chappell of Groveville, NJ, Victoria and Curtis Bucchi of Robbinsville, NJ, Kathleen and John Hardesky of Hamilton, NJ, Veronica Martinez of Newington, CT, and Gloria Fasanella of Hamilton, NJ.  She was also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Her services will be held privately at the convenience of the family, entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA.
