Joyce Ann (Cobb) Gabriele

Joyce Ann (Cobb) Gabriele, age 57, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Jefferson Bucks Hospital, Falls Township, PA.  Born in Bristol, she lived in Morrisville for over 50 years.

She was a graduate of Morrisville High School, and had been employed as a records clerk in the Bucks County Prothonotary's office for 22 years.  A proud Navy Veteran, Joyce was a member of the Knowles-Doyle American Legion Post # 317 Ladies Auxiliary in Yardley.  She enjoyed cooking and trips to the Jersey Shore.

Daughter of the late John Lawrence and Ruth Mae (Decker) Cobb, and sister of the late Richard M. and John Cobb, she is survived by her loving husband, Angelo M. Gabriele, a daughter Rebecca Farner of Falls Township, PA, a brother William Cobb of Levittown and 2 sisters and brothers-in-law Jeanette and Gary Sholtis of Upper Black Eddy, PA and Susan and John Bralynski of Buckingham, PA, an aunt Joan Decker of Doylestown, PA, an uncle Fred Decker of Virginia Beach, VA, 5 nieces Michelle, Melanie, Melissa, Laura, and Amanda, and 2 nephews, John and Matthew.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Joyce's life on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 12:30 PM at the Knowles-Doyle American Legion Post # 317, 215 S. Main St., Yardley, PA  19067, where friends may visit from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM.  Her interment in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, will follow at 2 PM.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA.
