Julia A. Mingo, age 41, of Morrisville, PA, passed away on August 23, 2015 at Aria Bucks County Hospital, Langhorne, PA. Born in Dallas, TX, she lived in Bucks County for the past 20 years, including 3 years in Yardley and the past 3 months in Morrisville.Julia was employed as a support specialist with Mindshift in Langhorne, PA. She enjoyed Sci Fi and Horror movieies, and liked to knit. Julia enjoyed cooking and spent time studying her craft in culinary school. She was interested in many different types of activities and genres, including Star Wars, Superhero Movies, B Movies, the Supernatural, The Walking Dead, the Food Network, the Travel Channel, Elvis, The Beatles, Selena, Lady Gaga, 80's music, the Dallas Cowboys, Chipotle, and card games. In addition to being a loving person, she was sarcastic, silly, fun loving, clumsy, sentimental, passionate, and at times, awkward. She also had things that she definitely didn't not care for, including spelling, sports, bunnies, the name "Bob", shopping, bugs, and sweets.She is survived by her husband Luis F. Mingo, her father Frank Villanueva of TX, her children Samantha, Savanah, Richard, and Matthew, her step-daughter Alexia Mingo and many brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as her 2 grandchildren.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at 12 Noon on Monday, August 31, 2015 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, Pa. The Rev. Wendy Bellis, Pastor of the Morrisville United Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
