Julia Ann Symington

Julia Ann Symington, age 75, of Morrisville, PA, died Friday, Nov. 20, 2015 at Hamilton Continuing Care, Hamilton Twp., NJ. Born Dec. 31, 1939 in Philadelphia, Julia lived in Mount Ephram, NJ until the age of 8. She then moved to Morrisville, PA and graduated from Morrisville High School. She attended Trenton Community College and became a med tech, working at Overlook Hospital in northern NJ, and then Hoffman La Roche Laboratory.She continued her education, graduating from Fairliegh Dickinson with a master's degree and continued working a Hoffman La Roche for 26 years as a chemist. Upon retirement, she moved back to Morrisville and shared the house with her brother, James. Julia was a former member of the Morrisville Presbyterian Church, loved animals, especially cats, and was an avid reader. She enjoyed still life painting and was a member of several medical/technical societies. Julia will be missed for her kindness and generosity.Daughter of the late James and Ethel (Conrad) Symington, she is survived by her brother James B. Symington of Morrisville and her sister Sandra Symington of Bear Lake, MI. She also leaves 2 cats for James to care for, Angus and Precious.Private services and entombment in Ewing Cemetery have been entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com).In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Julia's name be sent to the Bucks County S.P.C.A., 1665 Street Rd., Lahaska, PA 18931.

Services and Interment
Will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
