Julius Maxwell Thornton, age 2 of Levittown, PA died suddenly on Dec. 2, 2020 at his home. Julius was born in Abington, PA, and was an incredibly active child.
Julius loved to jump and run around. He enjoyed life, and was extremely affectionate. His favorite characters were Mickey Mouse and Oscar the Grouch. Julius also loved animals, and one of his favorite adventures was going to the zoo.
Julius is the son of Tonya (Redd) and Jorddan Thornton. He is also survived by his great grandmother Jean Thorpe of Pennsauken, NJ and his maternal grandfather Daniel O'Connor of Jersey City, NJ. Additionally, he is survived by his brother Jayden Thornton of Yeadon, PA, two uncles John (Erin) Muirhead of Manahawkin, NJ and Christopher (Shannon) Bradshaw of Ohio, an aunt Angela (Mustafa) Abdul-Lateef of Philadelphia, and a host of extended family.
His services and interment will be held privately, at the convenience of the family, entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions, in Julius' name, be made to Toys For Tots, www.toysfortots.org .
