Kelly John Anderson, age 54 of Levittown, PA, died suddenly on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at his home. Born in Boone, IA, Mr. Anderson had lived in Lower Bucks County for the past 25 years.
Mr. Anderson was a proud Army Veteran, serving for 10 years during Desert Storm. Among other decorations, he was awarded the Kuwait Liberation Medal and the Southwest Asia Service Medal with 2 bronze stars.
Kelly was a proud member of the John Billington VFW post in Levittown. He was employed as an electrician with the K-Mart Distribution Center in Morrisville for 8 years, and most recently worked with Mike Barta and Sons Aviation Fueling Specialties in Langhorne, PA. He had been a baseball coach with the Fairless Hills Little League and was an avid Denver Bronco's fan. Kelly enjoyed freshwater fishing, but most of all, enjoyed spending time with his grandsons.
Son of the late Dwight and Donna (O'Connor) Anderson, he is survived by his wife Kathleen (VanHouten) Anderson, 2 daughters Amy (and husband Eric) Lohan of Fairless Hills, Becky (and husband Norman) Summers of Fairless Hills, 2 grandsons Ian Summers and Max Lohan, 3 brothers Kasey, Travis, and James Anderson, 2 sisters Raejean Veenendaal and Tracy Anderson, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the celebration of his life at 2 PM on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Taps Sports Bar, 4021-4023 Veterans Highway, Levittown, PA 19056.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067.
