Kenneth Timothy Lipnitz, age 70 of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 27, 1954, in Albany, NY, Kenneth dedicated the majority of his life to the vibrant community of Morrisville, where he resided for the past 50 years.
Kenneth was an active parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Morrisville, embodying a spirit of faith that resonated through his engagements with the community. Among his many passions, Ken was an ardent train enthusiast, delighting in the world of trains from the magnificent locomotives to intricate model and miniature representations. He found joy in the rhythmic chugging of trains, connecting him to a sense of wonder and nostalgia that he cherished throughout his life.
A devoted sports lover, Ken was a fervent supporter of Philadelphia sports teams, with a particular affection for the Phillies, embodying the spirit of camaraderie and shared passion among avid fans. His love for American history was matched only by his enjoyment of Western films and the soulful sounds of country music, integrating these interests seamlessly into the fabric of his daily life.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, the late James and Margaret (Vokoviak) Lipnitz, as well as his siblings—Donald and Catherine Lipnitz, Julia Cliett, and Loretta Smith. He is survived by his beloved wife, Arlene Marie (Shipp) Lipnitz, whose unwavering love and support were integral to his life. He leaves behind two adored children, Jessica Marie Lipnitz and James Kenneth and Maureen Lipnitz, who carry forward his legacy of love and kindness. Additionally, Kenneth is survived by three brothers—Mike and Carol Lipnitz of Sewell, NJ; Jeff and Elaine Lipnitz of Medford, NJ; Chris Lipnitz of Dayton, OH—along with four sisters—Phylis Musser of Rehoboth Beach, DE; Barbara Hux of Edenton, NC; Dorothy Divito and Theresa Lipnitz of Magnolia, NJ. He also cherished his granddaughter, Abigail Lipnitz, numerous nieces and nephews, and his loyal companion, a dog named Bowie.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Kenneth Timothy Lipnitz at his funeral service, scheduled for 1:30 PM on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, located at 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. Monsignor John Eckert, Pastor of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Morrisville, will officiate the service, offering comfort and guidance as we celebrate the life of a remarkable man. Prior to the service, friends may pay their respects from 12:30 PM until the time of the service at the funeral chapel.
His interment will take place privately, honoring his life in a manner befitting his wishes. Kenneth Timothy Lipnitz will be profoundly missed, and his memory will forever reside in the hearts of those he touched throughout his journey on this earth.
