Lamar Schrader Jr.

Lamar Schrader, Jr., age 85, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Wed., Sept. 30, 2015 at Chandler Hall Hospice. Born in Locustdale, PA, Mr. Schrader resided in Morrisville since 1955. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a shearman with U.S. Steel for 34 years. He then worked for 17 years at the Valley Day School. Mr. Schrader was a proud Army Veteran of WWII. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan. An excellent woodworker, he always loved to work around the house.Son of the late Lamar and Ollie (Kramer) Schrader, he is survived by his loving wife Betty (Burge) Schrader, 2 sons and a daughter-in-law Randy Lee Schrader and Dennis L. and Elizabeth Schrader, all of Morrisville, and 2 grandchildren, Rachel N. and Luke R. SchraderServices and interment in Washington Crossing National Cemetery will be held privately at the convenience of the family, entrusted to the care of the J.
