Laura Marie (Youtz) Schreckengost

Laura Marie Schreckengost, age 70 of Toms Brook, VA passed away at the home of her son in Port St. Lucie, Florida on Monday, January 9, 2023.

Born in Plainfield, NJ, Laura lived in Levittown, PA for over 40 years before moving to Virginia 7 years ago.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Schreckengost was employed as a medical receptionist at Capital Health in Trenton.  An avid reader, she also very much enjoyed baking and spending time with her loving family.

Daughter of the late Jerome and Elizabeth (Grady) Youtz and wife of the late James C. Schreckengost, she is survived by two children, Jamie Schreckengost (James Kish) of Port St. Lucie, FL and Carrie Schreckengost of Toms Brook, VA, six grandchildren Cameron, Tristen, Austin, Nolan, Brianna and Anthony, three great grandchildren Arianna, Dylan and Clayton, her nieces Jessica Arteaga and Kelly Pawlowski, as well as several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her life at 11 AM on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA  19067.  Her interment will be held privately.

Friends may call Saturday morning from 10-11 AM at the funeral chapel.
