Leona Mary Martin (rigby)

Leona M. Martin, age 89, of Morrisville, PA, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA. Born in Morrisville, PA, Leona was a lifelong Morrisville resident.Mrs. Martin was a member of the Capitol View Ladies Auxiliary, The Morrisville Senior Center, and Life St. Mary. Leona loved to paint, read, and do scrapbooking. She was an avid WWE fan, and enjoyed watching football.Daughter of the late Sampson B. Rigby, Sr. and Carrie M. (Murphy) Rigby, and wife of the late Lawrence N. Martin, Jr. she is survived by four children, Lawrence N. Martin III of Trenton, NJ, William H. Martin of Saylorsburg, PA, Leona M. Furente of Langhorne, PA, and Marilee Olsen of Morrisville, PA, a sister Clara V. Mattingly of Levittown, PA, nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 AM on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA. The Rev. John Stange, Pastor of Core Creek Community Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Morrisville Cemetery.Friends may call Wednesday morning from 10-11 AM at the funeral chapel.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Life St. Mary, 2500 Interplex Dr, Trevose, PA 19053.
