Lindsey B. Johnson

Lindsey B. Johnson, age 93 of Yardley, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022 at his home.  Born in Wilmington, DE, Mr. Johnson lived in Lower Bucks County for the past 70 years.

A proud Army Veteran, he graduated from the University of Delaware in 1952.  Then, prior to his retirement, he worked at U.S. Steel as an assistant designer/engineer for 40 years.  Mr. Johnson loved to play golf and was a member of the Yardley Country Club.  Always active, he also loved to travel, do woodworking and go skiing.

Son of the late Millard and Maude (Renninger) Johnson and brother of the late Millard C. Johnson, Jr. and Shirley Cordrey, he is survived by his loving wife of 69 years Jean (Tegeler) Johnson, a daughter and son-in-law Suzanne Johnson and Edwin Barford of Fairless Hills, two sisters Jeanette Daniels of Drums, PA and Jacqueline Davis of Laurel, DE, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 12 PM on Tuesday Nov. 8, 2022 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA  19067.  The Rev. Towanda Connelly, Pastor of the Morrisville United Methodist Church, will officiate.  His interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery.

Friends may call Tuesday morning from 11 AM – 12 Noon at the funeral chapel.
