Lisa Marie Gibbs

March 10, 1979 — February 25, 2025

Levittown, PA

Lisa Marie Gibbs, born on March 10, 1979, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, departed this life on February 25, 2025, at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. She was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, who left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

A graduate of the Pennsbury High School Class of 1997, Lisa pursued her passion for helping others through education. She attended Bucks County Community College and later graduated from the Somerset School of Massage Therapy in 2004, demonstrating her dedication to wellness and care for others. Further nurturing her interests, she enjoyed her time studying at the Bucks County Technical School in the Pharmacy Technician Program. For several years, she served with pride as a Pharmaceutical Technician at Merck Animal Health, where her love for animals flourished.

Lisa was a devout Christian and prayer warrior. She attended Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia where she appreciated their Bible-teaching contemporary worship. She read scripture and prayed for others daily.

Lisa was an incredibly kind and gentle soul. She was soft spoken, selfless and had a heart of gold. She brought love and joy to everyone she encountered. She had a profound affection for animals, particularly dogs, and her beloved dog Maggie was a cherished companion in her life. Lisa’s interests were as diverse as her talents. She was a passionate artist, skilled in various mediums such as painting, sculpture, and crafts. Her creativity was matched only by her zest for life, exemplified by her active participation in a pool league and her love of travel. Some of her favorite destinations included the breathtaking landscapes of Scotland and Ireland, the majestic vistas of Alaska, and the serene beauty of the Caribbean and the Florida Keys.

Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Steve R. Gibbs; her loving parents, John Robert, Sr. and Amy Marie (Strackbein) Amour of Coatesville, PA; her brother and sister-in-law, John R. Jr. and Jen Amour of Coatesville, PA; and her cherished nieces, Anna and Kate. Lisa is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Visitation will be held at J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services, 41 W. Trenton Ave. in Morrisville, PA 19067 on March 6, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by another visitation at Compass Fellowship Baptist Church, 50 N.
