Lois Elinor (Guyer) Pursell

Lois Elinor Pursell, age 88 of the North Park section of Levittown, PA passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 in her home with her daughter and son-in-law by her side.  Born in Trenton, NJ, Mrs. Pursell lived in Levittown for over 50 years.

Prior to her retirement, she worked manufacturing plastics and  vinyl records.  Lois was  an avid fan of the Philadelphia Flyers and Philadelphia Phillies.  In her spare time, she was fond of doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles.  If the Flyers or Phillies were not playing, her favorite pastime shows were Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and The Price is Right.  The music she enjoyed was very diverse, enjoying the sounds of Rock N' Roll and Country, especially Elvis Presley, The Beatles , and Hank Williams, Sr.

Daughter of the late Paul Sr. and Irene (Agin) Guyer, wife of the late Frank Pursell, Jr. She was a mother of three and stepmother of five; however, she loved and regarded them all as her own children.  Mother of the late Frank Pursell, III, she is survived by Judie M. Pursell of Pacifica, CA, Joyce M. Short of Parker, CO, Lisa and Kenneth Anderson of Bristol, PA, Michele L. and Jaime Cohen of Levittown, PA, Deborah I. Maggio of Siesta Key, FL, Clinton R. and Carmen Pursell of Los Angeles, CA and Thomas M. Ward of Levittown; 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 AM on Friday, January 15, 2021 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA  19067.  The Rev. Wendy Bellis, Pastor of the Morrisville United Methodist Church, will officiate.  Her interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery.

Friends may call Thursday evening from 7-9 PM, and on Friday from 10-11 AM at the funeral chapel.
