Lora (Goldstein) Bastidas

Lora Bastidas, age 70 of Yardley, PA, passed away peacefully on June 4th at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA, with her loving family by her side.  Born and raised in Bronx, NY, Lora lived in Fairless Hills for 19 years before moving to Yardley 20 years ago.

Before her retirement, she was employed by the Pennsbury School District for many years.  Lora enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and watching the Waltons.  She was fond of listening to music of the 1970s and loved rooting for the New York Yankees.  Lora delighted in playing the slots in Atlantic City and scratching off lottery tickets.  Most of all, she was devoted to and loved spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.  Lora loved talking about her children and grandchildren and felt like her greatest accomplishments in life were raising her children and witnessing all of their successes.

Daughter of the late Seymour and Ruth Goldstein, she is survived by her loving husband Willie Bastidas, her devoted children Nina (Joe) Alvarez, Michael (Erin L.) Bastidas, and Dustin (Erin K.) Bastidas, a sister Leslie D’Armiento, eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 11 AM - 3 PM on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA  19067.  She will have a funeral service at 3 PM at the chapel.  Her interment will be held privately
