Louis H. Di Tanna, husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Tuesday, September 26, 2023. He was 79.
Born and raised in Bristol, he was the son of the late Louis Sr. and Antoinette (Comengo) Di Tanna. He worked at Rohm and Haas for 32 years. He was a graduate of Bishop Egan High School where he met the love of his life, Mary Jane Jaconski. They were married in 1965, and were blessed with two loving sons, Louis and Jeffrey. He was an even prouder “Pop” to his two grandsons, Evan and Ryan.
An avid golfer, Lou was a man who enjoyed his family and friends. He was the kind of person people enjoyed being around. His kindness, laughter and ability to smile through it all made him well liked by everyone. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, coach, and friend.
He is survived by his loving wife Mary Jane; two sons, Louis Di Tanna III (and friend Karen Rigby) and Jeffrey and his wife, Elizabeth and their two sons, Evan and Ryan. In addition, he is survived by many cousins and lifetime friends that were like family.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his Memorial Mass at 10:30 AM on Monday, October 2, 2023 at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 758 Big Oak Road, Morrisville, PA 19067. Friends may gather from 9:30 – 10:30 AM.
