Lydia Chase (moosmann)

Lydia Chase, age 73, of Morrisville, PA, died Jan. 11, 2014 at her home. Born in Germany, she lived in Morrisville for 50 years. She retired from K-Mart Warehouse after working there 20 years, then worked for 10 years at the Pathmark in Fairless Hills. She was a member of the German Club in Yardville, NJ.Daughter of the late Gustav and Emma (Steingruber) Moosmann, she is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara Chase of Morrisville and Christine and Israel Adorno of Quakertown, a brother Gunther Moosmann in Germany, a sister Hedwig Noa in Germany, two grandchildren Emilio Chase and Noah Adorno, and several nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her services at 8 PM on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. Interment in Newtown Cemetery will be held privately.Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral chapel.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
