Madeleine Patricia Jones of Morrisville, passed away peacefully in her sleep and went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. She was 71 years old.
Born in Sydney, Australia, to Thomas and Patricia (Nelson) Jones, Madeleine led a life of service. Always looking to serve our Lord, Madeleine entered the order of St. Katharine Drexel. Her volunteer interests found her on local boards within her Church and community. Madeleine's hobbies included writing, teaching, gardening, clowning and characters, designing and implementing courses and guidelines, and volunteering on the tall ship Gazela at Penn's Landing.
Recently, Madeleine served on a local Church social concerns committee and the Right To Quiet Society. During her last years of working, she enjoyed entertaining children at Sesame Place and helping homeowners at Bath Fitter.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Gregory Nelson Jones. Madeleine is survived by a brother, Philip Thomas Jones, of Denver, Colorado; her niece, Nicole Eileen Jones, of Arcadia, Florida; a nephew, Eric (and Erica) Daniel Jones of Denver, Colorado; cousins, Eric Rosenquist, Marie Louis Rosenquist, Marc Rosenquist, and Christine Rosenquist as well as many dear friends.
