Marcella S. Yetter (snook)

Marcella S. "Pat" Yetter, age 97, of Yardley, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at her home in Yardley. Born in Burnham, PA, Pat had lived in Yardley since 1954.Mrs. Yetter was a graduate of Burnham High School, class of 1936, and class treasurer. She served as the Tribune of the State Gradale Society of the Young Women's YMCA Auxiliary. Before becoming a homemaker, Pat was employed in the accounting department with Standard Steel in Burnham, PA. Pat was the oldest member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Morrisville, where she assisted with the church financial records. She helped start a craft club called the Cone Crafters, and was a member of the Makefield Garden Club. An avid reader, Pat also loved to cook, travel and study the Bible.Daughter of the late Arthur and Eva (Linthurst) Snook, and wife of the late Albert L. Yetter, Jr., she is survived by two sons, Albert Lewis Yetter of Yardley and Richard Alan Yetter of State College, PA, a daughter and son-in-law Marcy and Alexander Goniprow of Olney, MD, three grandsons, Alexander, Harrison, and William Goniprow, a sister Heloise Derr of E. Hartford, CT and several nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 2 PM on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1203 Pine Grove Rd, Morrisville, PA 19067. The Rev. Michael McKillip, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Ewing Cemetery, Ewing Twp., NJ.Friends may call Thursday from 12 Noon until 2 PM at the church.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions, in Mrs. Yetter's name, should be sent to St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church at the above address.Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J.
