Margaret (Barker) Priestley

May 28, 1928 — December 10, 2018

Margaret Priestley, age 90, of Buckingham, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 10, 2018 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA.  Born in Trenton, NJ, Mrs. Priestley was raised in England, then moved to Morrisville for 24 years before moving to Buckingham Township 13 years ago.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Jones New York for 16 years.  Margaret was a member of the First Baptist Church of Morrisville.  She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, and exercising.  Margaret especially loved socializing with friends and spending time at the clubhouse at Buckingham Springs.

Daughter of the late Robert and Hannah (Bellingham) Barker and wife of the late Cyril Priestley, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law Janice and Robert Barber of Newmarket, NH and Christine J. and Frank Chybinski of New Hope, PA, a son and daughter-in-law Paul T. and Gail R. Priestley of Lower Makefield Township, her longtime companion Clarence Moss, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 AM on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Morrisville, 50 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA.  The Reverend Gary Taylor will officiate.  Her interment will follow in Rosedale Memorial Park, Bensalem, PA.

Friends may call Thursday morning from 10-11 AM at the church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA.
