Marianne Yeager, 69, of Newtown passed away at home on Saturday April 27, 2024.
Marianne was born in Philadelphia to the late Anne and Walter Kobylinski. After graduating from Neshaminy High School in 1972, she was accepted into the Helen Fuld School of Nursing where she earned her RN degree. Marianne later attended Nazareth Hospital’s School of Anesthesia where she received her CRNA degree. She received her BSN at Lasalle University and MSN at St. Joseph’s University in the 1980’s while working as an anesthetist at Princeton Hospital. She worked as a CRNA for more than 25 years at several outpatient care centers in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area before her retirement in 2022.
Marianne was devoted to her family and loved spending time with them every chance she could. Her and her husband frequently spent time at their beach house in Ocean View, Delaware where she enjoyed swimming laps in the pool, taking walks and watching many sunsets. At home she enjoyed cooking for her family and growing flowers and herbs in her garden. Marianne was a warm, generous and thoughtful person with a great sense of humor and a quick laugh. She easily made friends with everyone and had a way of making others feel welcomed in her presence. She proudly rescued all her dogs and most recently had a very close bond with her beloved dog Darcy.
Marianne is predeceased by her daughter, Corey and her sister, Robin. She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Doug Yeager; her devoted daughter, Lisa; her three grandchildren, Avery, Liv, and Cecilia; her two cherished friends Diane Greeley and Patty Muldrew; along with other extended relatives and close friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 5-7 p.m. in the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. A celebration of her life will commence at 7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Marianne’s memory to Wag’s Rescue, which was where she adopted Darcy. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
