Marie Shipp (miller)

Marie (Miller) Shipp, age 87, of Morrisville PA, died suddenly on Monday, July 6, 2015 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA. Born in Barbertown, NJ, Marie lived in Lambertville, NJ before moving to Morrisville 47 years ago. She was a member of the Morrisville Presbyterian Church, where she was very active in her younger years. Marie was a seamstress, and was a volunteer at the Masonic Home in Burlington County, NJ.Daughter of the late Lewis and Ethel (Fisher) Miller, and wife of the late John H. Shipp, Sr., she was also predeceased by 3 sisters and 5 brothers. Mrs. Shipp is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Arlene and Ken Lipnitz of Morrisville, PA, 2 sons and daughters-in-law John H., Jr. and Joan Shipp of Bristol, PA and Brian D.,Sr. and Mary Shipp of Levittown, PA, a brother Eugene Miller of Clermont, FL, a sister Helen Godlewski of Batesburg, SC, 6 grandchildren James (& wife Maureen) Lipnitz, Jennifer Shipp, Brian D. Shipp, Jr., Jaime Shipp, John H. Shipp III, and Jessica Lipnitz, 2 great grandchildren Payton Dibert and Abigail Lipnitz, and many nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside service at 11:30 AM on Friday, July 10, 2015 at the Morrisville Cemetery, S. Pennsylvania Ave. at Anderson Ave. The Rev. Bruce Ballantine, Interim Pastor of the Morrisville Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Interment will immediately follow.There will be no calling hours.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Mrs. Shipp's name be sent to the American Heart Association, PO Box 15120, Chicago, IL 60693.Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J.
