Marie F. Yeager

Marie F. Yeager, age 94, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Nov. 29 2016 at her home in Morrisville. Born in Latrobe, PA on Aug. 6, 1922, to the late Jack and Gertrude (Wilkinson) Frisk, she was a lifelong Morrisville resident.Marie was a graduate of Morrisville High School, Class of 1940. She was an active member of the Morrisville Presbyterian Church. One of her many contributions was serving as a Sunday School Teacher. Mrs. Yeager enjoyed vacationing at the beach and spending time with her family. Her family will always remember the wonderful meals she prepared, especially her delicious cookies.Wife of the late James O. Yeager, mother of the late Dean Yeager, and grandmother of the late Corey Marie Yeager, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Doug and Marianne Yeager of Newtown, PA, her granddaughter Lisa Yeager of Newtown, PA, 3 great grandchildren Avery, Olivia, and Cecilia, and several nieces and nephews. The family would also like to acknowledge her caregiver, Lali Phophkhadze, who provided exceptional, loving care for the past two years.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 AM on Monday, Dec. 5, 2016 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA. (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com). The Rev. Bruce Ballantine, Interim pastor of the Morrisville Presbyterian Church, will officiate.
