Marjorie M. Oliver (halfhill)

Marjorie M. Oliver, age 89, of Langhorne, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Barn Hill Skilled Nursing Center Newton, NJ. Born in McKeesport, PA, she has lived in Langhorne since 1956.Marge was employed as an LPN at Lower Bucks Hospital for 20 years. She was a member of the Calvary Community Church. Marge enjoyed square dancing, as well as playing cards with the neighbors. She loved spending time with family, especially enjoying the family reunions.Daughter of the late Everett Q. and Hazel Del (Murray) Halfhill, wife of the late Harry A. Oliver, Sr., and mother of the late M. Lynn Golub, she is survived by 2 daughters, Donna (Jim) Hoffman of Ormand Beach, FL, and Cheryl (Joe) Glennon of Sussex, NJ, a son Harry Jr. (Donna) Oliver of Langhorne, A son-in-law Stephen Golub of Ormond Beach, FL, 2 sisters Barbara Pindar, and Sally (Joe) Rektenwald, a sister-in-law Janet Halfhill, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Friday, Jan. 13, 2017 at 12 Noon at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067 (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com). The Rev. Wendy Bellis, Pastor of the Morrisville United Methodist Church, will officiate. Her interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.Friends may call on Friday from 11 AM - 12 PM at the funeral chapel.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions, in Marge's name, be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
