Marjorie Eich Garwig, 79, of Yardley, PA, passed away Friday, April 14, 2023 at Crestview Center, Langhorne, PA.
Born in Orange, NJ, Marjorie resided in Lower Makefield Township for the past 43 years. A graduate of Douglass College and Rutgers School of Library Science, she was a law librarian in the New Jersey State Library in Trenton for over 30 years until her retirement.
Her many interests included opera, travel, politics, movies, and gardening. She and her husband enjoyed sightseeing trips in the U.S. and Europe, adventure trips in Mexico and South America, and family vacations in Wildwood Crest at the end of each summer. Marjorie traveled to Africa and was a lover of animals.
Daughter of the late Gerhard and Jeannette (Driscoll) Eich, and wife of the late Paul Garwig for 46 years, she is survived by her son Bradley Garwig (fiancée Becky Seifert) of Yardley and her brother Tony Eich of Laguna Niguel, CA.
Arrangements are being handled by J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville PA. Services and interment in Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery, New Hope PA, will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marjorie’s name may be made to the Bucks County SPCA (www.buckscountyspca.org) or to the Voorhees Animal Orphanage (www.vaonj.org).
