Mark David Strasser

Mark David Strasser, age 52 of Morrisville, PA passed away peacefully at Statesman Health and Rehab Center in Levittown, PA.

Born in Altoona, PA, Mark graduated from Altoona Area High School in 1987.  After graduation, he joined the United States Army. After his military service, Mark work as a car mechanic for several years before joining the United States Department of Agriculture as a facilities inspector, ultimately elevating to Senior Inspector. Mark settled in Morrisville, PA, where he resided until the time of his passing. Mark was always ready with a joke, quick to help out a friend and kinder than his gruff exterior would often project. He was a Shriner, a Mason and a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church in Altoona, PA.  He had the best smile.

Son of the late William Strasser and brother of the late Wendy Davis, Mark is survived by his mother Charlotte Leaper of Altoona, PA; his brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Marie Strasser of Altoona, PA; nieces and nephews, Feron McKee and John Griffith of Altoona, PA and Donald and Heather Davis of Altoona; four great nieces and nephews, three aunts, four uncles and his best friend Jesse Kooker of Cary, North Carolina.

Mr. Strasser’s services will be held at 8 PM on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the Bethany Lutheran Church, 200 3rd Ave., Altoona, PA 16602.
