Mary Carmella Neumann passed away on June 10th at home surrounded by loving family. She was 70 years old. Born in Trenton, New Jersey, she grew up in Morrisville, Pennsylvania. She was a graduate of Morrisville High School, Class of 1961, where she was a three sport letter winner, outstanding softball player, and co-captain of the cheerleading squad. After graduation, Carmella worked at Aero Chem Corp. in Princeton for two years before marrying her high school sweetheart Ed in 1962 and moving to Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Upon Ed's college graduation, she moved to Southold, New York where she worked as a title examiner in Riverhead, New York. Carmella and Ed returned to Bucks County in 1968 and lived in Levittown, Pennsylvania where they began to raise their family. In 1976 she moved to Lower Makefield. During this time she worked at Vipco Corporation, Micron Technology, and for ten years at Mercer Bucks Cardiology as a secretary. Mary Carmella was a loving, caring person who was always there to help family and friends. She enjoyed planning reunions for the Class of '61, in addition to serving as a member of the Dick Bedesem Scholarship Committee for several years. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother - her family was her pride and joy. She enjoyed cooking meals for family gatherings, spoiling her grandchildren, and attending her children's and grandchildren's sporting games and school events. She was Ed's number one fan through many years of football involvement. Carmella was also blessed with many wonderful friends who were a big part of her life. She enjoyed vacationing on Long Beach Island and in Florida, and taking cruises with family and friends. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church for the past 38 years. Mary Carmella was one of God's wonderful people. Daughter of the late Dominick and Mary Marrazzo (nee Pesce), Mary Carmella is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Edwin A. Neumann. She was a devoted mother to her two sons Edwin A. Neumann V (Pamela) of Lower Makefield, and Daniel A. Neumann (Jennifer) of Falls Township. She is also survived by her brother Dominick Marrazzo (Constance) of Falls Township, and sister-in-law Mary Ann Carlsen (Richard) of Coatesville, Pennsylvania. She was the proud grandmother to Cassandra, Thomas (Annemarie), Joseph, Rebecca, Ellie, Daniel, Andrew, and Matthew, as well as great-grandmother to Sophia. She will also be greatly missed by her lifelong best friend Arlene Demech Wittenborn, in addition to many relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank family doctor Scott Adler, oncologist Dr. Michael Mann, Nurse Laura Brann, and the entire staff of Regional Hematology and Oncology for the years of loving care they gave to Mary Carmella.
